Sweet Ears, or Tang Er Duo 糖耳朵, are deep-fried, glossy, chewy pastries—a traditional Beijing snack named for their distinct ear-like shape. Made simply with flour and sugar, it is served cold with a sprinkle of roasted white sesame on top.
